Gary Levine

Gary Levine is the founder of Levine Law Firm PLLC, and has been in practice since early 2008. Gary started his career after graduating from Lawrence Woodmere Academy high school, and completed his undergraduate degree at Queens College, City University of New York where he graduated as a member of the Phi Alpha Theta history honors society. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law, graduated cum laude, and was sworn into the New York State Bar in January 2008. Prior to founding Levine Law Firm, PLLC, Gary worked on the defense side of the table representing insurance companies in workers' compensation claims. Working on the defense side allowed Gary to learn how advocates on the insurance defense side think, enabling him to use that to his advantage when fighting for injured clients. In 2009, Gary remained in the private sector, but switched sides and began representing injured workers in New York State Workers’ Compensation claims, and injured individuals in Social Security.

Michael Garzarella

Michael Garzarella joined the Levine Law Firm in 2023. Since that time, he has handled much of the firm’s workers’ compensation and Social Security disability litigation. Michael has successfully defended numerous controverted workers’ compensation claims, disputed workers’ compensation injuries, and previously denied Social Security disability claims, winning favorable outcomes for a host of clients. Michael has also authored winning appeals and rebuttals, even securing the reversal of the disallowance of a medical condition. Michael prides himself on the individualized attention he gives to each client’s claim, making sure that no stone is left unturned in working towards a favorable outcome. Prior to joining the Levine Law Firm, Michael worked in the field of personal injury lien resolution, giving him a background in the lien issues frequently encountered in workers’ compensation law. A strong advocate for his clients, Michael hopes to use his expertise to fight for you.
